Dollar-stores

We all love dollar-stores, you don't really know what you need until you go to the dollar-store and they show you what you need. I think the original dollar-store was the Japan chain Daiso. I know there is a store in the International District in Seattle and we have them in Taipei too.

At S39NT it is more like "a dollar and 30 cents" store at the current exchange rate. The local "dollar-stores" are much cheaper at $10NT, but then not everything is only $10NT.

Even in Japan we saw some dollar stores although at 100 Yen they use to be less than $1US and at the current exchange rate they are closer to the "a dollar and 30 cents" store.
