Kawasakis

Environmentally, two stroke engines are much worse than the current four stroke engines. Even in Taiwan, the local government have bounty programs where an old two stroke motorcycle can be retired to the government for a cash reward. But there doesn't seem to much progress as the motorcycles are still on the road.

But those old two strokes must have some advantage, because the Kawasaki 125 and Suzuki 125 (both two strokes) are the delivery motorcycles in Taiwan. The big natural gas cylinders are delivered by fleets of either motorcycle. And this is with motorcycles that are maybe 40 years old.

Beside the delivery fleet two strokes(future blog entry) there are some nice looking Kawas on the streets of Taipei. I think the owners are holding on because the older bikes are just cool looking. Kawasakis in Taiwan were sold under the name Yuen Foong.
I believe the orange device on this one is a anti theft device.

Two of a kind, one says Yuen Foong, the other Kawasaki, they are the same bike.,
This not a motorcycle.
