First we go to Japan for 6 days before reaching Taiwan. We will spend the 6 6 days in Kyoto and save the rest of Japan for future trips. Sometime in January we'll make a trip to Viet Nam. We don't have many definite plans, we'll just play it by ear.
With help from our daughter, Ely, we packed and got to the airport. She will be looking out for house townhouse int Seattle.
Our luggage allowance on oversear flights was two bags of 50 pounds each. We got most of our stuff in the 3 big roller bags but then used an extra backpack for last minute additions. For such a long trip we needed lots of clothes, cooking equipment and gifts.
You look happy and excited about your big adventure together. Retirement is great!
ReplyDeleteI wonder about those still working when they could be in retirement. (Let the Young have their turn!) To keep working means their job must be tons of fun. I don't remember any of my previous jobs being more fun than retirement.
ReplyDeleteRetirement is wonderful. We really enjoyed Japan very much.
